Sweet Emotions

All emotions have a taste.

Anger is like your tongue being hit by a mace.

 

I prefer the sweet emotions.

Happy tastes like the first apple in spring.

All the juices flooding like an ocean.

It is one of the sweetest things.

 

Excitement is another.

It has the taste of ice cream.

You know this is a feeling like no other.

This taste is so desired that it sometimes make you scream.

 

So these emotions I find to be quite fun.

In fact they can't be beat.

They can't be better done.

But I will remember them as sweet.

One day you feel on top of the world,

almost as if you could rule all.

The next you feel as if you've been hurled

out of a cannon and into a wall.

 

One day you're riding the wave of life,

tilting the board your way.

The next you're in a dangerous strife,

leading yourself only astray.

 

This whirling rollercoaster known to man,

these feelings lost in mysterious oceans,

is something felt no less than,

those terrible, wonderful darn emotions.

 

 

Always in the Way

Always getting in the way,

Always making you think of what you are going to do,

Always making you to decide to decide not to do so.

 

Never letting you to be free,

Never alowing you to be free of conscience,

Never letting your mind be at ease,

 

But if they were not present,

The world would cease to be as it is today.

Sometimes we may be cheerful.

Sometimes we may be gloomy.

Sometimes we may be furious,

In that case stay out of the way.

 

Sometimes we may be flirty.

Sometimes we may be timid.

Sometimes we may be confused,

In that case help may be needed.

 

Sometimes we may be crazy.

Sometimes we may be calm.

Sometimes we may be talkative,

In that case, don’t talk, just listen.

 

Sometimes we may be loud.

Sometimes we may be silent.

Sometimes we may be puzzling,

In that case don’t try to understand.

 

This is what girls are,

Of course there is a lot more.

Dont try to figure us out because,

You couldn’t ever understand if you tried.

 

We will always astound you,

Because that’s what girls do.

But you just can’t comprehend,

The emotions of a teenage girl.

 

 

 

 

 

The River of Emotions

Some are like a slap in the face,

Others leave you with a sour taste.

Some can be depressing or sad,

Or maybe even angry or mad.

Happy, excited, filled with joy,

Or down in the dumps because of a certain boy.

 

 

Whatever your emotions may be,

They always change somehow you see,

One moment you’re the happiest thing alive,

The next moment, you’re emotions take a dive.

You find yourself unhappy, or just down instead of up,

And the tiniest annoyances just make you blowup.

 

 

I can’t explain why we have these emotions or why they change so fast,

But all I know is what you feel now won’t always last.

The things we go through,

can be painful.

They can hurt us,

They can heal us.

 

No matter how hard we try,

we can't stay away from anger.

We may be happy,

We may be sad.

 

On the outside we seem fine,

But thats only a lie.

We try to hide from it all,

But our hearts cry out in pain.

 

Our happiness is so strong,

It feels like it can bring back life.

It is what heals our pain,

and keeps us going day by day.

 

In a day everything can slip away, 

By one word,

Our worlds can be turned upside down.

But one word can make all the pain go away.

 

We try to have no regrets,

To live everyday as if it were our last,

But the sorrow keeps us down,

And then everything falls apart.

Some are stronger than others

People can exhibit many different emotions

Sometimes we are happy

And sometimes we are mad

And the next moment you are sad

Emotions can be expressed through senses

People can express different emotions

Not one person can just be one emotion

there are many emotions

Everyone has emotions.

Even though it may seem like some don't,

everybody does.

 

I have emotions.

I have a bad temper,

I get mad really easily,

over little things, things that are pointless.

 

I run around the house yelling and screaming,

punching and breaking things.

Im not quite crazy but I'm getting there.

 

Sometimes I'm really happy

and feel like things are going great.

But all at once they come crashing down.

One little thing will set me off.

Im a timebomb, just ticking, waiting to explode.

 

But sometimes I can make myself happy

trick my mind

Make it do crazy things.

Make me do crazy things.

Breath in, breath out.

Maybe I am crazy.

 

Heartbreak.

Heartbreak hurts, hurts bad.

Its something that I think I've experienced too many times.

Its a horrible feeling, a horrible emotion.

You just want to escape,

escape into bliss.

Its a field that streches far as the eye can see.

Green grass up to your neck

its bliss to me.

People say these things change,

I believe it but all I feel is strange.

Its not that I want to forget ,

Its just that all I think about is how me met.

How I remember that serenity,

But its not like I needed that amenity.

 

You say these things to make my heart a flutter,

but when you change everything goes down to the gutter.

My heart can't take this carnival ride,

because my emotions are crying inside.

Now I have more confessions,

considering I’m under a true possession.

 

In secret shadows hidden from the view,

are feelings kept from the friends I knew.

Lost and tangled in those Ive met,

is love and caring...and some regret.

Loving less and choosing wrong,

But most of all; hating so long.

 

 

My feelings may change,

but I wont be deranged.

By sudden changes of mind,

Sooner or later I will unwind.

Emotions are hard to desrcibe,

Some might feel as if you have just been punched,

emotions are not things that a doctor can prescribe,

some feel as if your heart has literally been crunched.

 

All emotions are not bad,

Most emotions are not visible to the naked eye,

They are kept inside whether it makes you happy or mad,

When your emotions seep out you may begin to cry.

 

People play tricks on other peoples' emotions,

yes, this is a game whether you realize or not,

Some people recognize, and some people just sail through the motions,

some let their emtions run free like in an open lot.

 

Emotions are the jokers in the deck,

You never know when one will pop up like a knife,

your emotions will possibly make your life a reck,

There is not one person on this planet who does not have emotions.

There are a million emotions to choose from,

but people usually choose one a day.

 

The emotions you choose are crucial to the way people thaink about you.

If you are in a good mood then people will probably think you are a good person,

but  if you are in a bad mood then people will think you are a bad person

 

Everybody can choose their own emotions,

and everybody can control the emotions they choose.

It is the emotions we choose and how we control them is what defines us.

Emotions can be so confusing sometimes.

It's like trying to figure out a puzzle that has missing pieces,

or trying to figure out a math problem no one has taught you.

Sometimes it's like trying to make a recipe without all the ingredients.

 

Emotions can be really happy sometimes.

Sometimes you can be so happy that no matter what negative thing

happens, or even if someone is mean to you, you are still happy.

 

At times, emotions can make you very sad.

They can make you so sad, that even your best friend can't make you laugh.

 

Emotions can either make or ruin your day,

but no matter what they do, emotions can always make your day more interesting.

Because without feelings we wouldn't be here today.

If you look all around you,

Not everyone’s the same.

Quick he's coming what should I do

Should I act like I didn't see him,

Or should I say "Hey You".

 

He comes up to me with a smile.

Introducing himself telling his name.

He wants to know if we could talk for awhile.

 

But then  Oh No, I start to blush.

Hoping he hasn't noticed,

He says I'm his crush.

 

Sometimes I wish this emotion would go away,

Especially this one that shows.

But the emotion of happiness I wish would last all day.
