Goodbye to carefree days of sunny hours,

To birds and butterflies and flowers.

And so sad that school has begun,

because work is always mixed with zero fun.

Meanwhile the teacher teaches,

I'm dreaming of warm sandy beaches.

I'm dreaming of days by the pool,

and week after week of no school.

Now the bell rings loud and clear,

One class is over but the other is here.

Many more things to learn,

And further grades to earn.

No thinking how many hours Ill spend,

Of all the homework until I end.

Need less to say we need to get finished,

Or else our weekend fun will be diminished.

A place to learn, that's what it is,

Sometimes to learn, means to take a quiz.

I follow the same routine everyday,

Go to school to get six classes out of the way.

Some days are exciting, some are a drag,

When this is the case, all the teachers do is nag.

Most days are long, some can be short,

Depending on whether or not you play a sport.

There can be more to school than just a bunch of work,

This sometimes may include guys who can be jerks.

Then there are your friends who are always by your side,

Who are there for you with arms open wide.

So you see, sometimes school isn't so bad,

You just have to look past the dull stuff, and just be glad :)

Some days it seems like it lasts forever,

It's a place to learn, a place to have fun,

A place where you and your friends learn together,

You go to school whether rain, snow, or sun.

To suceed to life, you must suceed in school,

You have to study for that exam, quiz, and test,

Taking notes all day can sometimes make you drool,

When you get that A, you feel as if you are the best!

School is not always that bad,

Playing sports makes time fly,

Sometimes time goes by too fast, making you sad,

If you enjoy school now, you will miss it when you have to say good-bye.

So, you should live up every moment of your HS days,

Try your hardest in everything you do,

Keep moving forward and you will find your way through the maze,

Your school experience will stay with you, like you wish you knew.

Some think school is cool,

but others think schools for fools.

Some teachers can be mean,

and others look like they are dressed up for Halloween.

Some teachers are really formal,

but others just act really abnormal.

Sometimes school can be really boring,

and that could mean a lot of ignoring.

At times it can be alright,

just like when you fly a kite.

The best part about school is lunch.

At this time we eat a bunch.

We hang out with our friends,

until lunch ends.

After lunch there's one more class.

We'll do anything to make the time pass.

Then school is done!

But then the next day, we wake up and it has only just begun...

School is where I learned ABC’s

And where my knowledge can increase.

I go to school to get more than B’s

So that my education will not cease.

It’s what kids do every week day

Whether we want to or not.

We’d rather stay home and play

And watch TV a lot.

School’s a great place to make buddies,

Join clubs, or play sports.

Friends can help you with studies

Or challenge you on the courts.

School will help you get to college

And help you start a great career

It gives you bundles of useful knowledge

And puts your brain into high gear.

Its a daily routine, what I do.

Get up, eat, get dressed, and leave.

 But sometimes there are days that are different.

Sometimes i'm late and I have to rush,

and sometimes I am early and I can take my time

Its a routine that I don't like,

but there is no choice.

Being at school is like being in jail,

with the exceptions of having no bars keeping me in.

We get a break to go to the bathroom,

and a break to eat our lunches.

School isn't great but there are some exceptions.

School is where I always get to see my friends,

and school is where I can play sports.

Sports, really the only reason why i'm still going,

But schoolworks makes me just want to stay home.

so as you can see school has it's up and downs,

but you'll be seeing me there every day.

Of teachers

Of my parents

and most of all from myself

I want to please them all

but at the same time I need

to choose what I want to do with my life

or sometimes I just want relax and be with my friends

What will I do with the next three years of my life?

Work hard?

Slack off?

Pay attention?

Fall Asleep?

School is a second home to some,

it's a place to learn,

it's a place to meet new people,

it's a place to learn from your mistakes.

People think school is a bad place,

but school is not as bad as people think.

If we didn't go to school then we wouldn't have as many friends as we do now.

If we didn't go to school then we wouldn't learn as many things as we do now.

Without the things we learn we would not live a successful life.

Without the friends we have we would be very lonely.
